At its recent conference in Hershey, Pa., the Pennsylvania Land Title Association (PLTA) announced its new officers and presented awards to title professionals.
Charles Nowicki, partner, World Wide Land Transfer, Inc. is PLTA’s new president. Lisa McEntee from First American Title Insurance C. will serve as vice president.
PLTA’s treasurer will be Todd Rowe, vice president and state counsel, Fidelity National Title Insurance Co.; and Cynthia A. Mills, senior vice president, WFG National Title Insurance Co., will serve as secretary.
“Our job at the PLTA is to keep members ahead of the curve,” Nowicki said. “We will continue to monitor and fight for legislation that will benefit the title industry and expose members to the latest and greatest technology so they are able to deliver the top tier services that our customers expect and deserve.”
PLTA presented its President’s Award to outgoing President Danielle Chamberlain; Glen Stout was honored with the association’s “Albert E. Pentecost Award; and PLTA’s outgoing Assistant Vice President Philip Janny received the James G. Schmidt Distinguished Service Award.
PLTA’s second annual "Rice Award for Excellence in Education", was presented to Leonard Shatz.
“We are fortunate to have so many talented title professionals who give freely of their time. Congratulations to all the award winners,” Nowicki said.
