Zillow has partnered with regional homebuilders across the country to help home sellers move into their new construction homes by selling their existing homes through Zillow Offers.
Zillow announced partnerships with The Providence Group in Atlanta; NewStyle Communities in Charlotte, N.C.; Kindred Homes in Dallas and San Antonio; Saratoga Homes in Houston; Avex Homes in Orlando, Fla.; Woodbridge Pacific Group in Riverside, Calif.; Caviness and Cates, Drees Homes and Stanley Martin Homes in Raleigh, N.C.; and Minto Communities in Florida.
“Many new construction buyers are also trying to sell their current home at the same time as buying, which is stressful,” Zillow Vice President of New Construction Lucy Wohltman said in a release. “Not only are these buyers trying to prepare for open houses and align timelines, they can be struggling with the daunting reality of owning two homes at once.
“At its core, Zillow Offers was designed to alleviate these pain points by giving homeowners a quick and efficient way to sell their home in time to purchase their next,” Wohltman said. “And by partnering with more homebuilders across the U.S. through Zillow Offers, we’re excited to bring this ease and flexibility to a greater share of home shoppers.”
Zillow said the homebuilder partnerships will be marketed on all new construction home listings on its platform and in all homebuilder showrooms.
“Avex Homes is very excited to partner with Zillow on their Zillow Offers program,” Avex Homes Director of Marketing Ryan Forrester said. “It gives us additional options for our customers and helps us to help them alleviate what can sometimes be a pain point in their new home purchase process.”
“We are thrilled that our buyers have the opportunity to simplify the new homebuying process even further by being able to synchronize the sale of their current home with the completion date of their new home through Zillow Offers,” Caviness and Cates Communities owner Chris Cates added. “Seeing this service expand into the areas where we build is a welcome step into the future of the world of real estate.”
