Simplifile has added 31 recording jurisdictions throughout the northeast, southeast and mid-Atlantic to its eRecording platform, the company announced.
“The Simplifile eRecording network only continues to grow as more counties and recording jurisdictions recognize the increased necessity of adapting a modernized and secure eRecording system,” Simplifile President Paul Clifford said in a release.
“We look forward to extending our comprehensive eRecording network to deliver time- and cost-saving benefits to lenders, settlement agents and recording offices nationwide,” he added.
The new jurisdictions are in Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
Nationwide, more than 1,600 county recording offices use Simplifile to eRecord deeds, mortgages and other documents.
