Ellie Mae has hired Eric Connors as its senior vice president of product strategy and management, the company announced.
In his role, Connors will lead the overall product strategy for Ellie Mae’s Encompass digital mortgage solution, the Encompass NG Lending Platform, and related products including the Encompass Connect suite of solutions, the company said.
“Eric has a proven history of leading innovation in a data driven industry and we’re thrilled to welcome him to Ellie Mae,” said Joe Tyrrell, executive vice president of corporate strategy at Ellie Mae. “In recent months we unveiled our Encompass NG Lending Platform and our Connect suite of solutions designed to help our lenders close more loans, close loans faster and reduce the cost of origination, while leveraging data and automation to deliver the true digital mortgage.”
“Going forward, Eric will be responsible for driving the product strategy in support of these solutions and helping Ellie Mae achieve our North Star of automating everything automatable for the residential mortgage industry,” Tyrrell added.
Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Connors led CoreLogic’s credit business as its general manager. Before CoreLogic, he spent eight years at Yodlee where he led product strategy, release management, and payment operations and as a member of the executive team.
“This is an exciting time to join the growing team at Ellie Mae,” Connors said. “As we work to deliver on the promise of offering a true digital mortgage, there is an opportunity to transform the lending process via the Encompass NG Lending Platform and our comprehensive suite of Encompass Connect solutions. I look forward to spearheading our product strategy in support of our lenders and partners.”
