Digital title and settlement company Endpoint announced the launch of Jot, a new platform that will connect notary signing agents with homebuyers and sellers.
Notaries who join the Jot network will have access to real estate transactions managed by Endpoint and First American Title.
Led by industry veteran Jaclyn Fox, Endpoint said Jot combines proprietary technology with the human touch of a dedicated management team to create a better overall experience for homebuyers, sellers and notaries.
“Endpoint’s mission is building the first end-to-end digital and title settlement experience to make the closing process easy for all and that inspired the creation of Jot,” Endpoint CEO said Scott Martino in a release. “Finding a notary to manage the signing process can be time-consuming and stressful. Jot’s proprietary technology matches homebuyers and sellers with a qualified notary for their transaction and makes it easy for notaries to accept assignments that fit within their schedule, while providing the tools to successfully manage their business and access to professional development resources.”
Developed with mobile notaries in mind, Jot’s platform notifies notaries of signing opportunities and provides real-time notifications that help them to manage their business from their desktop or phone. The platform also automates payments, so notaries receive weekly payments without the need to submit an invoice.
In addition, Jot will provide notaries an opportunity to be a part of a community, giving them access to workshops and other resources that allow them to build their professional network and help grow business.
