In October Research’s “Modernizing your Brand” webinar, Proper Title Director of Digital Media and Education Sabrina Bier and Bowe Digital owner and Chief Inspiration Officer Wayne Stanley share their expertise on effective marketing methods and strategies to help companies match their brands to their value propositions.
Moderated by CertifID co-founder and CEO Tyler Adams, the webinar goes over marketing best practices from both Stanley and Bier.
“Sabrina and I both have a lot of differing experiences in the real estate space,” Stanley said. “We tried to attack some of the topics for today from both of our perspectives.”
The two talked about the marketing mistakes title companies, real estate attorneys, underwriters and vendors often make. One of those is assuming that rethinking their marketing plan takes more time than companies have, Stanley said.
“It doesn’t take a lot of time. You’re doing all the right things already internally. You just have to figure out how to talk about that externally,” he said.
Thinking that you’re too busy to worry about marketing is another pitfall, Bier said.
“The best time to market is actually when you’re the busiest, so that when the market does slow down, you will already have these ongoing things,” she said. “The most eyes are on you when you’re the busiest.”
It’s also a mistake to try to use every marketing channel available, Bier said, like all the popular social media platforms, a blog, an email newsletter, etc.
“Really try to focus on one or two things and do it really, really well, versus trying to do everything and not doing any of it consistently,” she said.
