Stewart Title today named Laura Perry the new division president for Tennessee direct operations. In her new role, she will oversee all direct operations in the state, focusing on development, customer experience and technology adoption.
Perry joined Stewart last month through Stewart’s acquisition of Homeland Title. She founded the company in 2003 and grew it to three locations in Franklin, Nashville, and Spring Hill.
“Stewart is being strategic in our acquisitions. We are searching for industry leadership and talent that will help us leverage Stewart’s incredible financial strength and best-in-class technology to improve the customer experience,” Stewart Group President Steve Lessack said in a release. “We rely on local expertise and existing relationships, and Laura brings exceptional skills and years of experience being on the front line of Tennessee title operations. Her focus on security and technology from day one at Homeland shows the vision and leadership we need in this growing market.”
“When I started Homeland in 2003, the name was inspired by the Office of Homeland Security, because that’s what I thought a title company should focus on: security,” Perry said. “At Stewart, we are focused on the same thing, ensuring our transactions with our customers and clients are friendly, efficient, and most importantly, secure. As we grow in Tennessee, we intend to take the necessary time and effort to build lasting, trusted relationships.”
