Maryland-based Passport Title Services, LLC has appointed Donald Hope as its national business development director, the company announced.
The company said Hope will focus on helping attorneys, title agents and title agency owners join the Passport Title community, both across its current footprint and in growth markets.
“Given his hands-on, real-world experience, Donald understands how to help agents create value, re-envision their operations and succeed in complex and competitive environments,” Passport President and CEO John Cotter said in a release. “Donald will be an integral part of our leadership going forward, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Passport Title team.”
Prior to joining Passport Title, Hope was president of insurance agency and third-party administrator at The Randolph W. Hope Co. after having owned and operated Hope Auto Insurance Agency, which he sold to Nationwide Insurance. Donald also previously served as a loan officer and owner of Fisher Mortgage, LLC.
“In life and in business you have to grow and change to be successful,” Hope said. “I’m excited to be part of Passport Title, an organization that has embraced innovation and change since Day One. I look forward to connecting more title agents to our industry-leading solutions and helping them tackle the day-to-day challenges of operating title companies on their own.”
“Our growth over the years has been driven largely by word of mouth and the relationships John has built throughout his title career,” Passport Chief Growth Officer Susan Kenney Cotter said. “Creating a role dedicated to spreading the word about our platform and supporting title agents who want to be part of our community marks an important milestone for Passport Title at the right time in our maturity.”
