CATIC has hired Gregory Riley as vice president, state manager, and state counsel for Georgia
, the company announced.
CATIC said Riley is a licensed attorney in Georgia and Florida, with nearly two decades of experience in real estate closings, title insurance, national and state underwriting, estate planning, business, bankruptcy, and related legal matters.
“We are excited to have Greg join us as the company continues to grow our operations in the state of Georgia,” CATIC President and CEO James Czapiga said in a release. “We look forward to bringing our unparalleled service and support to real estate professionals throughout the state.”
Prior to joining CATIC, Riley served as underwriting counsel for a number of national title insurance companies after a period of time spent in private practice as a Georgia and Florida closing attorney.
In those positions Riley provided residential and commercial underwriting support to high-volume national and regional title insurance agents. He also hosted agent seminars, training sessions, and underwriting panels at various title association events.
