Agents National Title Insurance Co. (ANTIC) has promoted Elizabeth Blake, CPA, from controller to chief financial officer (CFO), the company announced.
Blake began her tenure at ANTIC in 2015. The company, in her time there, has added 25 state licenses and increased its workforce by over 40 percent.
“ANTIC has depended on Elizabeth’s deep accounting expertise, regulatory knowledge and steady hand as we have executed our growth plan,” ANTIC President David Townsend said in a release. “I am excited to work closely with her on our senior leadership team.”
“Elizabeth earned the confidence of our leadership and accounting teams through her hard work and collaborative approach. As a result, she was our first choice for the CFO role when it became available,” Townsend said.
Townsend also said her experience allowed for a “seamless transition.”
So, what’s next for ANTIC and Blake?
“Elizabeth will work with other senior leaders to drive revenue and expand operations into new markets. ANTIC has leveraged our relationships with outstanding, service-obsessed agents, and innovations like the REalSearch title decisioning engine to attain record growth,” Townsend said.
REalSearch is a title and property underwriting decisioning engine that applies AI [artificial intelligence] to a set of databases and can deliver decisions in as little as three seconds, according to ANTIC’s site.
“Her accounting and taxation expertise will be critical as we continue to expand,” Townsend said.
Blake previously worked as an CPA for Marberry and Eagle, where she was the lead CPA for a real estate company.
