The American Land Title Association (ALTA) has announced six promotions.
“I am incredibly proud of this team and thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a talented group,” ALTA CEO Diane Tomb said in a release.
“Each of them has demonstrated their value while at ALTA especially during the pandemic when we needed their strengths the most,” Tomb said. “They truly embody ALTA’s Our Values: We Lead, We Deliver, We Protect. I look forward to seeing what they have planned for their futures at ALTA.”
Elizabeth Blosser was named vice president of government affairs. Blosser has been working with data and technology for ALTA since 2017.
Lauren Dollerschell was named the senior director of meetings. The association credits her with allowing ALTA events to stay prominent during the era of COVID-19.
Steve Gottheim was hired as general counsel. He has been working with ALTA since 2009. He worked to ensure the title industry was deemed essential earlier this year. He’s been driving ALTA’s efforts regarding the SECURE Notarization Act.
Megan Hernandez was named the director of public relations and marketing. Hernandez has worked for ALTA since 2017.
Jowanda Hipp was named the director of accounting and financial reporting. She has been working for ALTA for over six years. She recently handled a change of ALTA’s outside accounting firm.
Emily Tryon was named senior director of public policy and government affairs. She led the effort on ALTA’s federal remote online notarization legislation.
