LenderClose has hired industry veteran Eric Scheuer as a sales executive, the company announced.
In his new role, Scheuer will direct all aspects of sales and growth, including administrative, operational and staff development, the company said. He will report to LenderClose Chief Operating Officer Ben Rempe.
“Eric has surpassed expectations within some of the financial industry’s leading brands,” Rempe said in a release. “Our development, sales, service and onboarding staffs, not to mention our board and executive leadership, are incredibly excited to have him on board.
“His network and relationships, technical knowledge of what it takes to evolve a lending department and overall enthusiasm for the future of the industry are second-to-none,” Rempe continued. “We can’t wait to see the great impact he has on the lending success of our clients.”
Scheuer most recently served as national sales manager for SingleSource Property Solutions in Canonsburg, Pa., where helped credit unions, consumer banks, mortgage companies and Wall Street investment firms evolve loan origination and servicing process.
At SWBC Lending Solutions, Scheuer led onboarding sessions for credit unions and community banks across the nation, helping each improve lending efficiencies by streamlining the origination process.
Prior to joining SWBC, Scheuer held a variety of sales positions for financial services firms, including DGU Insurance Associates in New Jersey, Spear, Leeds & Kellogg, and Benjamin Jacobson and Sons in New York.
