Simplifile has added 29 recording jurisdictions in six states throughout the southeastern U.S. to its eRecording network, the company announced.
“Just this year, the number of Mississippi jurisdictions that have adopted Simplifile’s eRecording platform has more than doubled,” Simplifile President Paul Clifford said in a release. “Smaller and more rural counties operating on restrictive budgets especially stand to benefit from joining Simplifile’s eRecording network.
“The service is absolutely free of cost to all recording jurisdictions and ultimately saves counties money by significantly decreasing postage, ink and envelope expenses,” Clifford added. “We’re glad to see more counties in the Southeast join Simplifile’s eRecording network.”
The new counties are Ashley, Bradley, Grant, Johnson, Ouachita and Van Buren in Arkansas; Calhoun and Collier in Florida; Baker, Cobb, Dougherty, Jenkins, Spalding and Treutlen in Georgia; and Lafayette Parish in Louisiana.
Other counties added were Calhoun, Itawamba, Monroe, Pontotoc, Prentiss and Tishomingo in Mississippi; Graham and Rutherford in North Carolina; Greenwood, Chesterfield and Jasper in South Carolina; and Johnson, Madison and McNairy in Tennessee.
