North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC) has hired John Mac Lean as state agency manager for Minnesota and Wisconsin, the company announced.
NATIC said Mac Lean will oversee agency operations throughout those two states, while securing and servicing title insurance agents to promote increased business activity.
“When you have combined experience in title agency and underwriting operations and blend it with a thorough understanding of the mortgage lending side, the result is someone who offers valuable insight at myriad touchpoints in a title agency’s operations,” NATIC National Sales Manager Rich Griffin said in a release. “This is what John brings to our agents in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
“In addition, we know John shares our passion for exceeding the normal agent/underwriter relationship to offer first-rate educational and business-building techniques for our agents in these booming markets,” Griffin added.
Mac Lean has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He owned Four Seasons Title in Roseville, Minn., and also previously served as an agency sales representative for a national underwriter, and as a loan document specialist for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
“NATIC was an easy choice for me. Being part of a growing company that allows me the opportunity to build new relationships and help agents reach their business potential is what attracted me to the position,” Mac Lean said. “Having owned my own title company, as well as working for other small companies, I understand the challenges our clients face and look forward to sharing my expertise with new and existing NATIC agents.”
