GRS Title Services, LLC has hired Elizabeth G. Steele as its director, business development, the company announced.
For the past 18 years, Steele has worked as a commercial underwriting counsel, transactions coordinator, and claims counsel for various national and regional title underwriters.
“Liz Steele is a great addition to our team,” GRS Title Services President Andrew Brownstein said in a release. “She has a tremendous background in our industry and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the title services process — from sales, to legal and underwriting. We are excited for the opportunity to add this talented professional to the GRS Title Services family.”
A frequent speaker at industry conventions and title insurance seminars, Steele in 2016 was president of Commercial Real Estate Women Network, Richmond; she’s also a member of Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate, the Urban Land Institute, the Virginia Land Title Association, and the Virginia Housing Commission Work Group for Affordable Housing/Real Estate/Mortgages.
