The Atlanta law firm Cook & James has unveiled a new logo and redesigned website.
Cook & James specializes in at-home closings and signature services and serves clients in Connecticut, Georgia, New York and South Carolina.
“Over the past decade and 120,000 closings we have evolved,” said Kara Cook, co-founding partner at Cook & James. “Our old logo – the scales of justice – just no longer told our whole story. While we will be no less ruthlessly and expertly ‘legal,’ the intertwined C and J in our new logo represent that we are fundamentally connected to each other and to our clients. Plus, we think it’s a really cool optical illusion.”
The firm said its new website better profiles the firm’s corporate culture and showcases its “canons” which direct all activity from internal interactions to client relationships.
“Our new site better represents that we are at once reliable, trustworthy, expert attorneys but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Witness our laughing leather jacket GIF – the best part about which is that we finally know how to pronounce GIF,” said Cook’s business partner, Heather James.
The website’s features include company background, executive bio pages, checklists and forms, and descriptions of the at-home real estate closing solutions offered. The new site also features a media coverage section and a page on which Cook and James will share important news links and industry trends.
