Ellie Mae has hired Carina Cortez as its executive vice president of human resources, the company announced.
Cortez will be responsible for leading Ellie Mae’s human resources organization with a focus on attracting and retaining top talent, managing workforce planning, and leading its talent development strategy.

Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Cortez led the team of HR professionals supporting associates at Walmart US eCommerce and Walmart Labs.
Before Walmart, she worked for PayPal. She also previously held numerous roles at Visa International, Inovant.
