ATA National Title Group, LLC (ATA) passed its Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1 – Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16) – Type 2 audit. This examination focuses upon ATA’s operational controls. Its data center already passed the independent SOC 2 audit.
“Passing the SOC 1 Type 2 examination further demonstrates ATA’s commitment to our customers and providing a high level of service,” ATA President William Robinson Jr. said in a press release. “We are proud to have completed this rigorous assessment, as it’s a testament to the policies and procedures we have implemented to protect our lender partners and consumers.”
The SSAE 16 SOC 1 audit process examines and reports on internal controls within the business to ensure the integrity of data and protection of Non Public Information (NPI). The examination was conducted by A-LIGN, a nationwide security and compliance solutions provider, in accordance with the American Land Title Association (ALTA) Best Practices System.
