North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC) has hired Kelsea Laun as vice president, regional underwriting counsel for its Southeast region, the company announced.
Laun will assist existing counsel, Mike Bates in providing legal and underwriting support to NATIC agents throughout Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
“Kelsea is connected to our markets in Atlanta, across Georgia, and in Tennessee and the other southeastern states,” NATIC Executive Vice President Valerie Jahn-Grandin said in a release. “Her extensive litigation and curative experience offers our agents a knowledgeable partner for their underwriting needs.”
“As someone who is both practical in her approach as well as committed to the highest level of customer service, Kelsea will be a perfect fit for the underwriting team at NATIC,”Jahn-Grandin added.
Laun co-founded an Atlanta residential real estate firm. She also previously handled all aspects of consumer bankruptcy at an Atlanta bankruptcy law firm; and was managing attorney for The Gilroy Firm.
“My background in real estate transactions, bankruptcy and title curative litigation gives me the foundation needed to help NATIC agents keep abreast of existing and emerging risks and trends,” Laun said. “I look forward to applying my knowledge to help NATIC agents prosper and grow with the company.”
