ClosingLock protected more than $14.3 billion in real estate wire transfers during 2019, which the company said was its highest amount ever.
ClosingLock said its portal was used in all 50 states, and in 42 different countries worldwide in 2019.
The company said its three-step multifactor authentication solution is a password-less system that is unparalleled in the industry.
“We are proud to have protected more than $14 billion in real estate transactions from wire fraud, and are excited to continue to grow as a company,” CEO Andy White said in a release. “Our frictionless, secure portal removes the need to ever email wire instructions, thus protecting everyone from wire fraud.”
In addition to secure wire document sharing, ClosingLock also offers eSigning, bank account ownership verification, multifactor authentication, automated text notifications and document hosting.
“Not only have we already added a robust suite of features for our clients, there are plenty of other exciting enhancements on the way,” White said.
