The first electronic real estate documentation for Lake County, Ohio, is in the books after eRecording Partners Network (ePN) filed in October.
“Lake County is very excited to launch eRecording of real estate documents,” Lake County Recorder Ann Radcliffe said in a release. “This efficient way to file documents will ensure recording without waiting in lines, alleviate last-minute rushes to the recorder’s office and make the documents available quicker to the public after recording.”
Lake County is the 11th largest county by population in Ohio.
“We welcome the addition of Lake County into the eRecording family,” ePN President Jerry Lewallen said. “ePN is pleased to have been able to work with Lake County during their initial testing of eRecording.”
In addition, ePN announced that it had integrated its platform with GreenFolders, a paperless office management solutions provider. GreenFolders users now will be able to electronically submit settlement documents for recording from within the GreenFolders application, as well as getting recording information and documents back through the GreenFolders service.
“Our commitment at GreenFolders is to offer solutions that provide increased efficiency and the ability to implement best practices successfully,” First American Professional Real Estate Services Inc. President Larry Davidson said.
