The Michigan Secretary of State has approved Pavaso to support eNotarization and remote online notarization in Michigan, the company announced.
Michigan-commissioned notaries must meet state eligibility criteria before they can begin offering these services, which includes a requirement to purchase and register an approved eNotarization platform.
Pavaso is one of four platforms approved by the state.
“It’s an honor to help the people of Michigan realize all the benefits of electronic and remote online notarization,” Pavaso Vice President Nancy Pratt said in a release.
“There’s a reason Pavaso is one of the most utilized platforms of its kind on the market,” Pratt said. “We work hand-in-hand with government officials to comply with state requirements and with settlement providers to create a best-in-class user experience.”
