NextAce Corp. announced the immediate availability of Title EDITOR 2.0, which gives the title examiner the new-found ability to review from the actual prelim, commitment or title product from the very start of the process, eliminating guesswork and errors.

Title EDITOR 2.0 dramatically decreases the amount of time an examiner spends reviewing each product, while leveraging the many benefits of automated examination that the NextAce platform provides.

NextAce said the Title EDITOR 2.0 takes a “what you see is what you get” approach to displaying the actual title product. As a quick and easy single seat solution for title examination, Title EDITOR 2.0 is a noteworthy departure from all other title industry platforms in use today. Among the program’s many features are:

• Support for a broad range of product types including: Refinance, resale, REO, short sale, and foreclosure, among others.

• The entire report can be displayed from any browser.

• Full access to all source documents and information is provided, including the chain of title, taxes, GI run, recorded documents, county websites, maps and more.

• Everything necessary is viewable, accessible and ready for validation from the very start.

The enhanced Title EDITOR 2.0 interface gives the examiner the ability to work smarter and faster. Productivity features include a new drag and drop capability that allows codes to be moved within the report; complete integration with all source documents, title plants, taxes and information; and real-time views of all changes as they will appear in the final product.

“We made hundreds of improvements to our former production system over the past two years,” said Don Cantral, chief executive officer for NextAce. “The bottom line is that Title EDITOR 2.0 delivers paradigm-changing productivity improvements of 50 percent or more while adhering to all customer rules and requirements.”

Title EDITOR 2.0 uses patented Title EDGE on-demand data extraction technology to deliver fast and accurate title information to the examiner’s fingertips for enhanced productivity and improved integration with the title company’s production platform. With NextAce, from the start of the examination through to completion most title products take only two to four minutes to complete, with all title documents displayed and immediately accessible.

“Since the user is looking and interacting with the title product itself, they no longer have to wonder where something will show up in the report or what function they have to use in the system to get particular information to the appropriate spot in the report,” Cantral said.

NextAce is a provider of automated real property intelligence for the title insurance, mortgage lending, foreclosure, real estate, and investment markets. The patented NextAce technology has evolved into a powerful production and workflow platform that connects and automates all major functions of the entire title search and production process.
