With the recent addition of Logan County, Ill., Simplifile now has 1,900 jurisdictions in its eRecording network, the company announced.
“As eRecording adoption continues to progress towards critical mass, celebrating milestones such as this becomes even more important, as it reminds us both of how far we’ve come and what’s still left to accomplish,” Simplifile President Paul Clifford said in a release.
“We applaud Logan County and all the other recent additions to Simplifile’s eRecording network for taking the necessary steps to modernize their operations and deliver exceptional service to residents of their respective jurisdictions,” Clifford said.
Logan County Clerk Theresa Moore said her office is using Simplifile to eRecord mortgages and releases, and hopes to add more document types shortly.
In addition to Logan County, other jurisdictions that recently joined Simplifile’s network are Jersey County, Ill.; Steuben County, Ind.; Furnas County, Neb.; Oliver County Sheridan County, N.D.; Crawford County and Seneca County, Ohio; and Price County, Wis.
