LenderClose announced it is moving into a larger space in West Des Moines, Iowa.
The company said it has outgrown its 4,000 square-foot office space and is expanding to a new 12,000 square-foot location at 3001 Westown Pkwy, Ste. 200.
LenderClose said it expects its employee base to double to 60 in the next 18 months. The additional space includes a gym and showers, break room, collaboration corners, a ping pong table and kegerator.
“We thought it would take us two to three years to fill our old space, but in just over a year, we were running out of room,” LenderClose founder and CEO Omar Jordan said in a release. “We plan to maintain this momentum through 2020, and I’m confident we will because of the incredible effort by our team. This move is about creating an environment we all love to work and have fun in every day.”
LenderClose said it has clients throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, but Des Moines has been the ideal place to start and grow the company.
“We have an incredible community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and even legislators rooting for our success,” Jordan said. “The resources for tech startups in Iowa are second to none.”
