NextDeal is offering up to $500,000 of wire fraud protection for each transaction through its preDOCS platform, the company announced.
“In addition to preDOCS transmitting and receiving wire instructions from sellers and to buyers, it now includes substantial wire fraud protection,” NextDeal founder and CEO Robert Reich said in a release. “Should homeowners or settlement agents using our technology be fraudulently coerced into wiring funds to the wrong account, NextDeal will protect those funds up to a half million dollars.”
preDOCS automates the delivery of wire instructions for buyers and sellers and never uses email as the transmission or reception platform.
“preDOCS has been saving our customers up to three hours per file, allowing homeowners to easily and safely fill out and sign any non-notary document in a secure environment,” Reich said.
