The Marshall County, Ala. Probate Office has partnered with eRecording Partners Network (ePN) to accept electronically submitted documents for recording.
“We are so excited to offer this service to the citizens of Marshall County. We are always looking for new technology to improve our office workflow,” Chief Clerk Andrea LeCroy said in a release. “eRecording will decrease the turnaround time on documents filed electronically and decrease labor costs at the same time. The best part is that there was no cost to the county. Rest assured, that we will still offer standard paper recording services, as well.”
The county installed ePN’s DocRouter Solution, which allows closing agents to submit documents electronically. Once approved by the clerk, the documents are then electronically imported into the Probate Office’s official records.
Common Bond Title, an Alabama title agency, was the first to submit documents for eRecording to Marshall County.
“Our team is very delighted to partner with Marshall County, Ala., and be a part of their eRecording journey,” ePN President Jerry Lewallen said. “We are thankful for the opportunity to help them increase efficiency within their office and support them every step of the way.”
