WFG hired Mel Santos as vice president of operational enhancement. In his new role, Santos will develop and execute regional recruiting plans, with his primary responsibilities to include the recruitment of salespeople, escrow officers and support staff for the company’s offices in the greater Seattle area. He has served in the title industry since 1975 and most recently owned and operated a franchise retail business for five years. Before that, he was charged with the start-up and development of a national reverse mortgage lending company. He also served as vice president of business development for East Bay Mortgage.
“Mel is an important addition for WFG as we continue to grow here in Washington,” said Lynn Riedel, president and chief operating officer for WFG National Title of Washington. “His strength in networking and his ability to locate and recruit the very best talent will be especially important to us and our clients as we expand in the greater Seattle market.”
