Benjamin Johnson will serve as the national commercial pricing director at Stewart Title Commercial Services. In this position, he will prepare and coordinate the pricing for Stewart’s commercial transaction throughout the U.S.
“Ben brings a wealth of pricing expertise to Stewart,” said Bruce Hawley, executive vice president and director of Stewart Title Commercial Services. “His experience and knowledge will help to ensure our customers are getting the best possible customer service, with accurate and competitive pricing.”
Johnson has more than 10 years of experience in providing title insurance for commercial real estate transactions. During the last few years, he specialized in pricing complex commercial transactions as the assistant national commercial pricing director for another major title insurance company. In his prior position, he priced hundreds of multi-site and multi-state transactions.
Building on commercial pricing and procedures that were overseen by Lynne Demarest for the agency’s commercial services department, Johnson will be developing and implementing Stewart’s new commercial pricing protocols that will apply to all of Stewart’s direct and agency operations. While continuing to manage Stewart’s reinsurance department, Demarest will be working closely with Johnson on those pricing protocols to best service Stewart’s commercial customers.
