Simplifile recently added 30 recording jurisdictions in nine states throughout the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic to its eRecording network, the company announced.
“With the addition of these new jurisdictions, Simplifile continues to expand its eRecording footprint throughout the U.S., enabling mortgage lenders, title and settlement professionals and county recorders to electronically record and exchange documents with ease,” Simplifile President Paul Clifford said in a release.
“Our enthusiasm for onboarding new counties to Simplifile’s e-recording platform only continues to grow as recording districts report back the multitude of ways in which Simplifile’s platform has improved their record-keeping process,” Clifford added.
The new jurisdictions include Bolton, Brookfield, Enfield, Lebanon, Oxford, North Canaan and Simsbury in Connecticut; Washington County in Maine; Allegany, Charles, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Kent and Worcester counties in Maryland; and Barnstable Land Court, Plymouth County Land Court, and Worcester North Land Court in Massachusetts.
Other jurisdictions were Rockingham County, N.H.; Union County, N.J.; Hamilton and Delaware counties in New York; Erie, Butler and North Cumberland counties in Pennsylvania; and Bath County, Charles City, Goochland County, Henrico County and Portsmouth City in Virginia.
