Relationships make the title industry go around, whether those relationships are with Realtors, lenders or underwriters.
But how do title agencies market their companies to create new relationships to maintain their current level of business or spur growth?
That’s one of the topics to be discussed during the National Settlement Services Summit (NS3) June 18-20 in Phoenix during a session featuring Rich Griffin, vice president, national sales manager of North American Title Insurance Co.; and James Schlimmer, managing partner of Cottrell Title & Escrow.
“The days of single-channeled marketing in the title space are over,” Griffin said. “Setting up a table at a golf tournament or sponsoring a Realtor event are no longer enough to drive revenue.
“Because of the move toward multi-channel marketing in title, there is so much noise being pushed to your key prospects through various mediums,” Griffin added. “Therefore, it has never been more important to create content that will be immediately valuable to your target prospects.”
Griffin and Schlimmer’s session is among four in the Sales and Marketing Track at NS3 this year.
Cindy McGovern, CEO of Orange Leaf Consulting, will discuss how every member of the team can participate in sales in a session titled “Sales: No Agent Left Behind.”
In “3 Keys to Putting Clients First,” JoAnn and Joseph Callaway will discuss how honesty, competence and caring can be keys to success for your business. And in “Next Level Prospect Engagement,” Title Sales Solution CEO Darryl Turner returns to the NS3 stage to show agents how to get more orders and increase engagement from their prospects.
Griffin and Schlimmer will educate title agents on how to build impactful brand messaging, offer tips on how to identify and reach your target audience, and discuss creating and distributing content that will change the way your prospects and clients work.
Griffin said the pair also will cover how to create and leverage a unique selling proposition, share four keys to the successful distribution of your message and provide a detailed campaign blueprint that can be implemented immediately.
“As a special bonus, [we] will give you a peek behind the curtain and show you good technology that can make all of these concepts easy to implement,” Griffin said.
