Rockville, Md.-based law firm Miller, Miller & Canby added attorney Taggart (Tagg) Hutchinson to the firm’s real estate practice group. He will provide settlement services as well as focus on commercial real estate transactions, financings, land development matters, real estate litigation and property tax appeals.
“We are delighted to welcome Tagg to our firm and to our real estate practice,” said Robert Gough, Miller, Miller & Canby’s real estate practice group head. “His experience demonstrates his legal and professional abilities. We expect this experience, and his dedication to his client’s interest, will translate well to Tagg’s representation of our firm’s clients, and he will be a perfect complement to our proud history of more than 75 years serving government agencies, real estate developers and other organizations in our community.”
Prior to joining the firm, Hutchinson was an associate county attorney for Montgomery County and served as the agency counsel for Montgomery County’s Department of Finance, where he advised the county on the collection of state and local property taxes, business taxes, transfer and recordation taxes, development impact taxes and various local excise taxes.
