Investors Title has hired Gates Grainger as vice president of its Commercial Services Division and title counsel, the company announced.
In his new position, Grainger will specialize in commercial transactions business development and provide the direct access to solutions-driven underwriting support, the company said.
“His extensive transaction experience will further strengthen the depth of service capabilities for our growing commercial customer base, and his business development leadership will continue the rapid expansion of our Commercial Services Division,” Investors Title President and Chief Operating Officer Morris Fine said in a release.
Prior to Investors Title, Grainger spent 10 years as agency and underwriting counsel for a regional title agency. He also previously served as assistant general counsel for LendingTree, and was an associate for the Real Estate and Capital Markets Practice Group at Parker, Poe, Adams & Bernstein in Charlotte, N.C.
