First National Title Insurance Co. (FNTI) recently announced the addition of John Micciche as Mid-Atlantic region vice president, agency manager, and Ned Livornese as national and Mid-Atlantic underwriting counsel.
Micciche, who has over 34 years of experience in the title industry, will be responsible for the support and growth of the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.
“John’s extensive background in title insurance and all facets of the agency business make him a valuable asset and a well-known, trusted business partner to title agents,” Mid-Atlantic Region Agency Manager Anthony Nalbone said in a release. “John’s commitment to providing accredited education to our agents will pay dividends in cost savings and claims avoidance.”
“I’m grateful to have been given the opportunity to join First National Title as we enter the Maryland, Delaware, and District of Columbia markets,” Micciche said. “Our commitment to place the needs and success of our agents first and finding ways to ‘get the deal done’ expeditiously are the differentiating factors for mutual success. Agents want to do business with people they know, like and, most important, trust.”
Livornese, an attorney and industry veteran, operated a 25-employee title insurance agency in Colorado for 17 years before joining Maryland title insurance agency ELTG in 2010 as general counsel. Since 2014, he has worked as a Maryland state underwriter for Stewart Title and national underwriter for WFG National Title, according to his LinkedIn profile.
“Having owned my own title insurance agency and having performed all of the job functions at my own company, I know what it is like to search titles, issue title insurance commitments and policies, and perform closings. I try to translate this experience into practical ‘insider’ advice for everyone that I underwrite for,” Livornese said. “I am excited to contribute my skills to First National Title Insurance Co. as it expands its footprint nationwide.”
“Ned brings a wealth of national underwriting knowledge, experience, and leadership further strengthening our existing, excellent, and accomplished legal team,” General Counsel David Hays said. “Ned’s seasoned career makes him an invaluable asset to both FNTI and our agency partners. We are excited and honored to have Ned join FNTI’s legal team.”
