Doma Title Insurance named NolaAnn Waggoner as vice president, regional underwriting counsel for Texas. With 25 years of experience in the industry, she will provide underwriting guidance and support to Doma title agents across the state.
“We are excited to have someone with NolaAnn’s title industry pedigree join Doma’s team in Texas,” Vice President, Deputy Chief Underwriting Counsel Danielle Kaiser said in a release. “Her years of dedication and service will expand our footprint and enrich our title agent relationships in Texas, one of Doma’s most active and highly regulated states.”
Waggoner began her career in title insurance as an escrow officer and manager of a title agency in the Gulf Coast region of Texas before deciding to attend law school. After briefly working as a solo practitioner, she returned to the title industry and has served as underwriting counsel at Chicago Title, First American Title, Westcor and First National Title, according to her LinkedIn profile.
“The great thing about title insurance matters in Texas is there is always an opportunity for us to continue learning and growing together,” Waggoner said. “Even with more than 25 years of experience in various facets of the Texas title industry, including managing a title agency and serving as in-house agency counsel, claims counsel, and underwriting counsel, I feel that I still haven’t seen it all. Joining Doma’s Texas underwriting team presents new challenges and ways for me to meet the needs of our agents and their customers.”
Waggoner graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s of business administration in finance before earning her JD.
