Alliant National Title Insurance Co., a title insurance underwriter that partners with independent agents to improve their competitive position in the marketplace, announced the hire of Tim Tillman as vice president, Tallahassee and Northwest Florida agency manager. Tillman will be responsible for building Alliant National’s footprint in Northwest Florida and the Tallahassee area.
With more than 26 years of experience in the title insurance business, Tillman started his career as a courier and advanced to perform search, exam and mapping with an independent agent in south Florida. Subsequently, he worked as senior examiner and assistant manager for American Pioneer and also as senior examiner for Attorneys Title Fund. Tillman’s most recent position prior to Alliant National Title Insurance was as operations manager and then business center manager for Fidelity National Title Group’s Tallahassee operation, where he managed title production, and trained and managed other personnel.
“Joining the Alliant National team presents me with some new challenges and opportunities, and I’m really looking forward to helping Alliant National’s independent agents serve their customers more fully and stand out from the competition,” Tillman said. “I’m grateful that, throughout my career, I’ve been able to foster excellent business relationships along some of the best beaches in the world and around the state capital.”
Alliant National’s mission is to protect property owners’ investments by providing secure title insurance delivered by the most experienced and knowledgeable independent agents available. Alliant National provides a partnership environment with its agents that improves the accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of its products, while improving the knowledge base of its agents, and offering the best title products and services possible.
“Tim Tillman’s breadth of experience and wide-ranging business relationships are phenomenal in the industry,” said Dave Ginger, Alliant National president. “We are extremely pleased to bring him aboard our company.”
