Agents National Title Insurance Co. promoted Mark Batis from Texas agency manager to Southwest agency manager. The company also added two people to the organization: Pamela Blake is the new Florida title production manager, and Kimberly Fields is the new regional underwriting counsel, responsible for several Midwestern states.
“Mark, Pam and Kim epitomize the Agents National focus on innovation and service,” National Agency Manager Dan Hassen said in a release. “As the fastest-growing title insurance agency in the country last year, we know that team members like them help us thrive.”
Batis, based in San Antonio, came to Agents National three years ago to oversee agency operations and underwriting in Texas. As Southwest agency manager, he will add Oklahoma and New Mexico to his responsibilities. Before joining Agents National, he served as vice president and sales manager with WFG National Title.
“Mark is a terrific leader and fervent customer champion, who has made our Texas office incredibly successful,” Hassen said.
Blake will be responsible for the expansion and operation of Agents National’s Florida title production operation. She has over 30 years of experience with national title insurers in residential and commercial production.
“I am thrilled that Pam has joined our team,” Florida State Manager and Underwriting Counsel Kevin Thomas said. “She places the same strong emphasis as we do on the customer experience.”
Fields is regional underwriting counsel for Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. She has over 12 years in operations/management experience and another 10 years as underwriting counsel for the title insurance industry. Most recently, she worked at Landtrust Title Services running operations and building its national commercial department.
“Kim’s understanding of all facets of the title insurance industry, combined with her legal background, is invaluable to Agents National,” Director of Underwriting Cheryl Crowherd said.
