Fidelity, Stewart executives discuss proposed merger

Following the announcement of Fidelity’s proposed acquisition of Stewart earlier this year, executives from both companies traveled across the country to hold Town Hall-style meetings with Stewart employees.

Investors Title’s profits decrease

Investors Title Co. pointed to higher interest rates and declining refinances for its drop in first-quarter net income and revenues.
Chairman J. Allen Fine said the company expects low levels of unemployment and solid wage growth in 2018 to help offset the effects of higher interest rates and limited inventories of residential housing in certain markets.

Old Republic reports flat title volume
