Fidelity National Financial (FNF) announced it has brought back former employee Kristopher Sleeth to serve as its Mid-Atlantic agency underwriting counsel.
Before first joining FNF in March 2006, also as underwriting counsel, Sleeth served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was in the private practice of law in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
From 2006 through 2013, Sleeth served as agency counsel for the FNF brands in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, later serving as Virginia underwriting counsel for First American Title Insurance Co. through 2021.
Most recently, Sleeth was regional underwriting counsel in the Mid-Atlantic region for WFG National Title Insurance Co.
“Kris is skilled in both residential and commercial underwriting, is an effective communicator and has a very practical approach to underwriting issues,” FNF stated. “He is keenly aware of both the underwriting and business issues faced by our agents daily and is looking forward to the opportunity to help our agent partners grow and thrive in the marketplace, regardless of market conditions. His agent-oriented perspective will help to broaden the experiences of our overall underwriting team, and I am confident that Kris will quickly become a valuable resource to our agents throughout the Mid-Atlantic.”
