The Douglas County, Colo., Clerk and Recorders office widely is recognized as a leader in expanding public service through technology. It was the first county in Colorado to successfully accept electronic recordings and to electronically certify copies, and the office said that legacy pushes the county to continually look ahead and find ways to improve services for business partners, customers and staff.
This week, the county achieved another milestone by going live with the Landmark Official Records System from Pioneer Technology Group.
The Landmark Official Records system enables counties and Registers of Deeds offices to streamline processes and improve public service when recording land records. The system includes extensive options for searching public records, simple eCommerce payments and numerous time and labor saving features for the staff and management of Recorders and Registers of Deeds offices.
“We’re thrilled to be live in Douglas County,” Pioneer President Steve Rumsey said. “Pioneer has built a strong reputation for innovative system design, responsive support, and for partnering with our customers. We’re grateful that counties across the country are selecting Landmark and recommending us to their peers within the industry.”
