RedVision, a title report production and real property research solutions company acquired Security Search & Abstract in Pennsylvania back in February, and now the companies have announced, effective June 15, that Security Search & Abstract will take on the RedVision name.

“The transition to become one company has been successful over the course of the past four months,” said Kilty Mahoney, former owner of Security Search & Abstract. “Blending our cultures and processes to deliver our customers the most comprehensive real property research solutions in the title industry has and will continue to be our goal.”

This division makes up the majority of Security Search & Abstract’s business, which has been a top quality provider serving predominantly the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets for title reports and real property information for more than four decades.

Each state is different as far as business practices, regulations and courthouse data, and this acquisition gave RedVision a foothold into some markets that require a more nuanced, local expertise.

“The acquisition of Security Search & Abstract supports our strategy of combining local expertise and data with best practice standards and industry leading technology,” said Brian Twibell, chief executive officer of RedVision. “Combined with RedVision’s title plant and web-based expert workflow, our mutual local and national customers will see a continuum of improvements and benefits as we integrate staffs, data assets and overall standards and practices.”

“RedVision delivers innovative property research solutions to help organizations put the customer at the center of their business operations,” Young said. “This acquisition emphasizes RedVision’s mission to deliver superior real property research solutions, serviced by local experts to ensure quality and production efficiencies.”

RedVision serves more than 1,400 customers in the real estate industry, including lenders, title underwriters, title agents, attorneys and settlement and default servicing firms. The company completes more than 1 million title searches per year. Security Search & Abstract has 12 offices and 40 employees.
