RealtyTrac launched its enhanced Application Program Interface (API) product, featuring streamlined enterprise-level access to its nationwide public record property data for more than 150 million U.S. parcels.
Along with hundreds of property-centric attributes — including property type, parcel number, legal description, square footage, number of beds and baths and lot size — the RealtyTrac enhanced API delivers the following information for the 150 million U.S. parcels, updated daily:
- Property status information — including occupancy status and owner mailing address;
- Property transaction history — including sales transfers and loan transactions;
- Detailed loan information — including original loan amount, loan type and interest rate;
- Sales comps and automated valuation model (AVM) — including an AVM range;
- Foreclosure recordings and history — including pre-foreclosure and foreclosure auction notices;
- Comprehensive neighborhood data — including schools, crime and demographics;
- Plat maps — including lot, block and tract numbers and parcel boundary information; and
- Parcel-level risk data — including environmental risks and natural hazard risks.
RealtyTrac’s enhanced API product features flexible search options allowing end-users to search by owner name, property address, latitude and longitude or assessor’s parcel number (APN), along with flexible pricing that allows a business to pay only for the data its end-users need — rather than licensing the entire RealtyTrac real estate database.
“The RealtyTrac API product is a great fit for companies that need accurate real estate data to help make wise business decisions in real-time, but aren’t interested in ingesting or managing a massive database in-house,” RealtyTrac CEO Rob Barber said in a news release. “Companies and their clients can still quickly access the relevant data they need at the critical decision-making moment they need it, but with an easier integration process and typically lower cost given that they are only paying for the data they actually access via the API.”
“The enhanced RealtyTrac API also comes with flexible integration options and personalized account support that is part of the RealtyTrac commitment to all its data solutions customers,” said Richard Lombardi, executive vice president and GM for RealtyTrac Data Solutions. “Our API is working effectively for a variety of clients in a variety of verticals, including appraisal, insurance, MLS, transaction verification and risk mitigation.”
