ServiceLink, a national provider of transaction services to the mortgage and finance industries, appointed Michael Kula as the new division president, originations.
In his new role, Kula will be part of the ServiceLink executive leadership team and be responsible for the strategy, operations and growth of the company’s entire originations business. Over the course of his 30-year career, he has been responsible for all facets of mortgage operations, risk management, business strategy and sales.
Most recently, he served as global managing director of mortgage business development at IBM. Prior to IBM, he was mortgage operations director for Lloyds Banking Group, based in London. His tenure also includes executive roles at Bank of America, Washington Mutual, Mellon Mortgage Co. (now JPMorgan Chase) and MeritBanc.

Kula is a certified public accountant and attended Central Michigan University and Arizona State University, graduating with majors in accounting and marketing.
