Stewart hires Connecticut manager, underwriting counsel

Stewart Title Agency Services appointed David Baghdady as Connecticut Agency Services manager and underwriting counsel. He brings more than 16 years of title industry experience to Stewart in commercial and residential underwriting. In addition, he spent years in private practice in real estate law prior to entering the title industry.
“David will be a trusted partner to our Connecticut agencies, providing in-depth legal guidance as well as sales and marketing expertise,” Senior Vice President and New England District Manager Stephen Dinsmore said in a press release. “We are pleased to welcome him to our team.”
Baghdady is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Real Property Section and served as president of Connecticut Title Association. He earned a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Bridgeport and his law degree from Quinnipiac College.
