Pioneer Technology Group announced its Landmark official records system is now live in Putnam County, Ohio. Putnam is the first county in Ohio to unveil official records technology. This improves public records access and increases operational efficiency in the records’ office.
“We are excited to be the first county in Ohio to go live with the Landmark recording system,” said Cathy Recker, Putnam County recorder and past president of the Ohio Recorders’ Association. “The transition has been extremely smooth and very satisfying for both our office and searchers. I feel that it is important that our office continues to stay current with today’s technology while offering improved access to the records, and the Landmark system provides those features for both our office and the public. We evaluated numerous systems, and the Landmark system was the clear choice.”

“We’re thrilled that Landmark is live in Putnam County, and our thanks go out to Cathy and her exceptional staff,” said Steve Rumsey, president of Pioneer Technology Group. “Clerks, recorders and registers of deeds have high standards and don’t pull any punches. That’s why we encourage counties that are considering new recording systems to speak directly with their colleagues and the counties that have converted to Landmark.”
