Old Republic promoted Peter Mattson, senior manager of social media and digital strategy, to vice president of Old Republic National Title Insurance Co. (ORNTIC) and corporate marketing and communications manager for the Old Republic Title Insurance Group (ORTIG). He will report directly to Mark Bilbrey, president of ORTIG.
Mattson will be responsible for managing the strategy, development and execution of marketing and communications initiatives for the group. He will continue to be based out of Minneapolis and will service and work collaboratively with key personnel throughout the ORTIG to ensure that marketing and communications initiatives align with the company’s mission and strategic goals.
Under his leadership, the MarCom team established Old Republic Title as a leader in social media and search engine marketing for the title insurance industry. He helped increase the ORTIG’s branch recognition and sales through the use of these marketing tools.
Mattson has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota and a mini master’s degree in marketing from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minn. He holds numerous interactive marketing certifications including interactive, social media, conversion optimization, online PR, email marketing, PPC ads and web analytics. He is also search engine optimized (SEO) Master-certified.
He has 14 of experience as an interactive marketer and digital strategist. He has a Realtors license and previously has worked in financial services, marketing agency and retail.
