Title Alliance, a RESPA-compliant ESOP company specializing in joint ventured title insurance agencies, announced the appointment of Matthew J. Lynch, Esq. as corporate attorney for its Greater Maryland Title operation. Greater Maryland Title, a partnership with Keller Williams Centre, opened in August 2014.
Lynch joins the operational team at Greater Maryland Title of Jennifer Zatkowski, manager; Marti Mason, processor; and Chris Kourse, processor. His extensive skillset will help to position Greater Maryland Title for growth.
Lynch was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December of 1993 and the District of Columbia Bar in October of 1994. He received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in 1993.
His professional focus has been on real estate law, with experience specific to the title industry since 1993. Residential and commercial transactions, underwriting, title examination and contract negotiation are some of the areas in which Lynch excels.
“We are more than impressed with Matt’s resume and experience,” says Michael Warner, regional director for Title Alliance. “His commitment to customer satisfaction and his experience as underwriting counsel will help to drive Greater Maryland to growth and success.”
A seasoned professional, Lynch specializes in public speaking and conducting seminars for the general public on topics such as reverse mortgages, estate planning and first-time homebuyers. He holds his title producers license in Maryland, District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.
“As we are preparing for the TRID Integration in August, we knew that it was imperative to bring someone on board who is well versed in title insurance, both in commercial and residential transactions, and is able to conduct risk assessments, review documents and service the customers efficiently,” Warner concluded.
