First Nationwide Title Agency added two more professionals to its rapidly growing staff, bringing the number of staff to 34, only slightly more than a year-and-a-half after FNTA was founded.
Dawn Pereyo was appointed director of title operations with more than 24 years of experience. She served as the director of agency operations and director of client services for Valley Stream, N.Y.-based Sutton Land Title Agency. She was responsible for day-to-day operations as well as underwriter audits, both for New York and the national licenses, in efforts to ensure compliance. Before that, she owned and operated her own title agency, Security Settlement of New York, for nearly 10 years.
Andrew Ruppert was appointed senior title officer. His focus as a reader will be obtaining clearance of New York and national files. He was previously employed with Sutton Land Title Agency as a national title officer, where he was responsible for coordinating, negotiating, structuring and underwriting multistate portfolio transactions. Prior to that, he was with Garden City, N.Y.-based RELS Title Agency as a title reader and clearance officer, working on commercial and residential real estate abstracts for purchase, refinance and foreclosures.
“We are thrilled to welcome such accomplished professionals as Dawn and Andrew to FNTA,” President and CEO Steven Napolitano said. “Dawn is an ideal fit for our culture. Forward-thinking and creative, she has already shared a myriad of ways to enhance our operating efficiencies. And Andrew brings nine years of consistent, diverse title insurance agency experience. He will be a tremendous asset to our team.”
