Fidelity National Financial Inc. (FNF) has created a fund to assist its employees and partnered with the American Red Cross to help others in the Houston-area recovering from Hurricane Harvey.
“Hurricane Harvey was devastating to Houston and the surrounding areas. As soon as we were able, our local and regional managers held daily conference calls with our executive leadership to communicate how our over 700 Houston-area employees were doing,” FNF officials said via a statement issued to The Title Report.
“Outside of knowing that several of our employees were in need of immediate relief, many of our employees in other areas of the country were contacting our corporate offices asking how they could help,” the statement read. “With that knowledge, we set up a fund to provide relief for our Houston-area employees who were in need. We also setup a Red Cross fund to help those outside of FNF struggling with Harvey’s aftermath.”
According to a statement on the fund’s website, about 50 FNF employees have been displaced or affected by Harvey.
“Unfortunately, a lot of people have not been able to get back to their homes yet to assess the impact Harvey has had so this number may climb. In the true spirit of family, many of you have asked how you can help those impacted by Harvey,” the website stated.
