PropertyInfo Corp., a Stewart company, completed the installation of its CountyFusion records management software system at the Denver Office of the Clerk and Recorder. This system allows for the filing of online marriage and civil union applications, which has helped reduce wait times by 300 percent.
“We have made an important step towards bringing this office to the 21st century — saving the people of Denver time and money,” said Debra Johnson, Denver clerk and recorder. “There are now more than $7 million documents online available for public searching. The CountyFusion system offers quick and easy access to recorded documents, and delivers instant customer service instead of a wait time of 3-4 days through mail. In addition, we have the convenience of accepting credit cards as a payment method.”
The records management solution includes cashiering, imaging, indexing with CountyFusion’s OCR/ICR indexing technology and redaction, full reporting capabilities and performance metrics. The system also provides e-recording, a county search portal, property fraud alerts and disaster recovery.
“It has been a pleasure working with the Denver Clerk and Recorder’s office and their experienced, professional team,” said Kyle Chaney, senior vice president of PropertyInfo, a government services division. “We are excited to expand in Colorado and look forward to this partnership to deliver courthouse automation to Denver County and its constituents.”
